I have the same sub. Although mine didn't fit too well under the seats. The mesh grill would hit on parts of the seat when I sat down and would rattle and stuff.
Ended up ratchet strapping it to the fold down seat bottom in the back of my extra cab. Been there like that for like 3 or so years now lol.

But yea good bang for your buck I'd say

When I had it in my 99 it would catch on the slide rail of the seat a bit. That's why you can see some scuff marks on the sub but it didn't rattle the seat at all.

In this truck it has the clearance because I positioned it further back but it does rattle some stuff in the seat.

I would like to remove the seat behind driver and mount it their against the wall but I'm going to wait until I can sound proof the cabin to avoid outside rattle.

Even though I really don't play music that loud, it would just be piece of mind.

Yea definitely insulate the back wall. That's where I initially mounted mine, but it rattled like crazy.
The seat worked well for me cause it acted as a vibration dampener.

Yeah, well see later down the road what happens but for now I'm happy with overall sound. Time to start working on suspension!

Since this truck spent some time in South Dakota, it gathered a bit of rust on the bottom side. Exhaust was completely toast! I could slide the muffler along the exhaust pipe it was so bad so I am happy I finally removed that. Eventually I will get under there and sand away all the other surface rust then slap a a couple layers of paint on it.

Painted and installed my bumper this weekend.

It lowered the front end down a bit. The coilovers I have on don't seem to be all that great. Once I put the EXT King's in it should bring it right back up.

Also, still need to do some painting behind the bumper and around it.

I also changed the oil and fixed my USB port. I hooked it up backwards last time I was plugging in my subs and didn't notice until I had everything back on so I just left it for the time being.

Didn't realize how useful that USB port was until I didn't have it. Glad to have that back in action.

I had the K&N CAI on my last Taco and decided to try out the Deckplate mod this time around.

I feel like the CAI is slightly better, but yet again a "slight difference" for something that is $300 versus $15. Deckplate is the better choice.

Also, I won't have to constantly clean that oiled filter every month.

I like the idea of picking up patches from places that I camp at with this truck. Couldn't resist throwing one up there that fits my style.

Also, Kings and UCA's are working well. Night and day compared to the way it was before. Here is an updated photo of the truck 12/11/2020

Swapped out the headlights for black housings, sold the camper shell, and installed the light bar.

Also, switched to LED headlights and changed out the corner lights for some LED ambers. Still have parts sitting around that I need to start putting on.

Blew out both rear shocks playing around in the rain this past weekend so I turned around and knocked out some much needed maintenance.
    - New Front Brakes and Rotors
    - Extended Rear Brake Line
    - Installed Rear Bilstein's
    - Installed Customer Deaver Leaf Springs

I forgot to take pictures of the before and after but now my rear sits about 3" higher than my front. I'm going to have to adjust my front coils to level it back out. I'll probably install the extended front brake lines before I start raising the front end up. I'll update the thread with some pictures once I get all that done.
