Does your GX beep at you if you drive with that glass up? Pretty sure my 2012 does, although it's been a while since I tried

I just remember about a year ago driving home from Lowes with some wood sticking out the back and it beeping the whole time and me hating my life. May be a way to disable it, not sure.

Probably a fuse or a wire somewhere you can disconnect. Same for door alarms. Although if its a newer model you might be able to disable in the settings.

We did around 900 miles and days worth of single digit temps. BE13AA06-7091-43CD-B28E-24DA7D9F0A8E.jpg B1AE9C3F-CF45-41BE-9D7E-EFD885D2FC86.jpgAverage about 19 mpg for the trip. 2adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs and a coffin on the roof full of crap. It’s crazy how much more comfortable the GX is over a Tacoma.

The sun came out long enough to fool me into attempting a paint job on pet barrier.:rofl:

Tank or not to tank that is the question? I’m trying to figure out where to put the OBA system. The viair heavy duty system I have came with a 2 gallon air tank. I can easily fit the compressor in several locations but the tank is another story. Thoughts! I used to have a portable unit without a tank for air ups that was fairly fast. Rumor has it the tank will just slow things down. :help:

I've got a 400p. No tank and no need for a tank. 18psi to 38psi in a few minutes per tire. Plenty fast for me.

It's portable. It's still in the carry bag it comes in. I keep it in an 83L roam box along with my tools and recovery gear.

+1 for the ViAir 400P. I got the 400PA which has an automatic shut off.

I installed Flowmaster muffler last night. Sounds pretty good. It’s either to quiet or perfect, I haven’t decided yet. Anyone know how I can attach a sound clip?

Doesn't look like the forum upload accepts any video formats. Would have to upload it to Youtube or something and link it here.

Based on my inability to make a decision and the lack of stock available, I just ordered some 5100’s and springs for the rear. I think I’m also just going to put on 275/70/18’s on stock wheels for now. I really want to just be able to do some off reading this summer. I need to order some skids and do some bumper trimming in the front for sure.

i like my RCI skids and RSG rock sliders. some companies to look into as you start your search for armor.

also think throwing some tires on the stock 18s is the right way to go. i opted to buy some 17 inch wheels, but kinda wish i would have saved the money and just threw new tires on the stockers
