I am looking for anyone who has actually towed their older 4x4 Taco on a two wheel dolly. I have a 1996 manual transmission. My owners manual says "Towing with wheel lift type truck from front: We recommend using a towing dolly under the rear wheels. If you do not use a towing dolly, release the parking brake, put the transmission in neutral and set the transfer in "H2" mode."

But if you are in H2 mode, aren't your rear wheels the drive wheels? And don't you always want your drive wheels on the dolly?
