Hey everyone. I got those two transmission cooler lines changed out. I lost about a quart or so of fluid doing so. Is there a good guide on here somewhere about checking/filling the trans fluid?

Truck should be at operating temperature, and check the fluid with dipstick while the truck is still running correct?

    Yes.

Does the owners manual not outline this for you?

If you dont have a manual, we can link you to a free one from Toyota.

That's all I can seem to find in the manual. I feel like I keep adding and it doesn't go up anymore on the dipstick. Probably have it overfilled now.
Oh wait thats for the 5speed. For Auto it says about the same.

My phone really doesn't like this site haha anyone else?
I just glugged a bunch of ATF in and it did go up so I think I am good. I guess I lost a lot more fluid than I thought I did. Quite a bit leaked on the floor so makes sense I guess.
