    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    I'd use a brush and a pint of black paint in the correct sheen. (Flat, satin or gloss) that came closest to matching

    The paint that is on grill is translucent, hence why it's chrome underneath it.Very hard to match exactly.

    With all the nooks and crannys in that grille, preparing it properly for paint will be time consuming and finger numbingly painful. There are a number of grilles on Craigslist in my area. I am sure you can find one in better shape that is cheap enough in your area. Or switch to a style you like better.

    Someone has this one for sale for $50... it has peaked my interest. I like this grille...

    I don’t have pics but mine is pitted everywhere, really doesn’t bug me though. When it gets super bad I’ll just sand it and paint it flat black.
