I'd get thread pitch gauge and check before I put the bolt I bought on. Worst case, you have a couple bucks invested in a bolt.

Made out to Stanislaus NF over the weekend, checked out Cherry lake and south of buck meadows. Pretty cold but a great weekend overall. My truck looks so small next to my buddies newly acquired first gen on tons and 40s.

It’s a different rig, not quite as nice as Reynolds. Dana 60 up front 4 linked with kinds and hydro assist. 14 bolt rear leafed. F/r locked. 5.38s.

Sweet! Good to see snow on the ground still. Might get a little more Friday morning after the warm front passes.

Which way did you head out? From Tuolumne or Groveland?

Got out this weekend with some guys from MetalCloak to run Signal Peak and Pierce OHV. It was fun showing them what our trucks can do since they were all in Jeeps, they kept egging me on and I was able to keep up with them for the most part! Pretty icey, my buddy lost traction and rammed into me with his bar, dented my tailgate and bumper pretty good. Still tons of snow up in the Sierras, at least a couple feet according to my truck haha.

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Not a huge mod but def an upgrade over the original snorkel head. I opened up the snorkel head after the DV trip and it was filled with dead bees and bugs. Air filter suffered hell on the trip from the dust too. Now I don’t have to worry about that!

Howdy folks, I’m thinking about taking a solo trip up to hollister this weekend. Do you have any recommendations? Any thing to steer clear of? I’m new to off-road and I got a free weekend so figure I might just mosey around.

There's definitely a few. I don't know the names, but @Taco-Obsessed or @Kwikvette can probably set you straight. Really depends on what you're running, though.
