Nice! I just did that too. I agree the subtle is good. but it no longer screams chrome

 

where did you buy them from? I need to replace mine. has the smocked ones on it but the DTRL are all melted

 

Got mine from BAM Wholesale parts on the interwebs. Cheapest combination of cost and shipping for me in WI.

Use these P/N's They will come with all new bulbs and sockets. (there is some confusion with the TSB and which number is the preceding number but I can confirm these are the post tsb housings)

Doing my part to deter crackheads and common thieves from leaving the Taco without catalytic converters… hopefully it will annoy them enough that they move to easier targets.

That’s awesome. Where did you get the camo style cover above? Is it a replacement part or a vinyl type decal you put on?

 

Did you have to drill new holes or does it pickup preexisting ones?

Welded JD fab spindle gussets and double shear tabs last night.

 

Super impressed with it!

 

There are two holes on the very front that need to be drilled with an 11mm or 7/16 drill bit. You need those two holes so you can install the provided two M8 rivet nuts.



ALL other anti-tampering T40 M8 cap screw match factory blank locations.

There are a total of 16 anti-tampering T40 M8 cap screws that come with the kit. You only use 6 to mount it to the frame.

Pretty clean and straightforward installation.

Fixed vacuum hose on t-case, just sliced a small bit off the hose and shoved it back on. Started painting skid plates. Pulled two broken skid plate bolts out of the truck. Snapped one of the mounts off of course. I'll probably just throw a nut on the back of it when I reinstall.
