has anyone ever installed the “suspensionconnection 3 inch body lift for 2wd 5 lug Tacomas” i’ve been thinking about buying it and i’m trying to figure out what issues i may run into when i install it in. Anyone have anything to say about it? I linked a screenshot of it incase anyone couldn’t find it

Got a lot of stuff lol
So I can't say for this particular kit or first gens but past a 1" body lift you usually need to extend the steering shaft, fuel filler and some other random things. There will also be gaps in between the bed and the frame as well as the bumpers. It looks like the kit comes with some things to adjust that stuff but I figured you should know before you dive into it.

ya i figured all that, i went through some things and it looks like lines/hoses and most things you suggested other than the steering can all be stretched. i’m just gonna buy it andpray everything works out. if it doesn’t it’ll give me a reason to buy and install new hoses

Update, i went ahead and did the body lift. long story short…I would not recommend anyone to do this. The steering shaft had to be collapsed a shit ton to get it back in because the extender was too long. the filler pipe extender was also way to long and it required a lot of trimming and bending. lastly the kit came with no parts to extend the transmission cable. I ended up having to trim and bed the guide plate for it, then i had to fabricate a whole new connector for the shifter. lots of welding. then i had to zip tie it in a few places, oh and i also had to grind off a bit of where the exhaust header was so the steering column wouldn’t have any interference. so in conclusion, the kit is straight shit and don’t buy it. edit: However; the instructions were pretty good throughout the whole thing and the parts are high quality and durable.
