I am planning on ordering the RDL Canopy at the End of February. I Was originally dead set on putting the Prisnu rack on the Canopy purely from a families recommendation. But my personal opinion, based on aesthetics I liked how the RDL Platform Roof Rack looked.

My current plans with my Taco are mostly work, I tend to haul a lot of lumber/trim. (up to 16 feet in length.)

I would like to eventually get a rooftop tent to be able to go on a spur of the moment camping trip.

What I wanted to know was how versatile/compatible is the RDL Platform Roof Rack with Accessories. My family member told me that Prisnu, Gobi, Frontrunner, and K9 made their accessories all comparable with each other.

(I know nothing about roof racks or the brands that make them. As a fresh Taco owner any information is greatly appreciated.)[IMG]

You're definitely going to have a lot more customization with other rack brands. Looking at the top of that, you're only going to be able to put your accessories or tie down points in certain spots. Other brands like Prinsu or Frontrunner have tracks that go through the entire rack so you can mount anywhere along the track. Most typical roof rack I've seen for these kinds of caps are Frontrunner. Great brand and a decent amount of customization available.

Prisnu was my second choice, I haven't seen any photos of a prisnu rack mounted on the RLD cannopy. Is it feasible to out the prisnu on the RDL canopy?

Thanks for taking the time to explain.

As long as the RLD cap has the rails on top like other caps, a Prinsu rack on top is absolutely feasible.

We carry the top racks that they make for the truck caps:
