A great deal popped up for a Leer 3rd gen Taco cap. Its red and my trucks black... Anyone recently get their cap repainted/color matched? If so, how much did you pay and how spot on do they get the color matching these days? I haven't seen too many updated threads or forums on this from the last year or so. Thanks for the info!

My price was similar. Color match is hit or miss. You will see some folks claim theirs is great, others not so much. It is hard to match a metallic finish without blending into adjacent panels.
That said, I re-painted mine to match it better. I also filled in the recession where the Leer sticker goes.

If you're concerned about color matching, what about a cool pattern vinyl wrap?

Rhino, tough and looks good...if I was buying a used one that needed painting. Sorry, no personal pics but plenty through Google.
