Have you tried looking to see where it's actually from?

If a spill from sloppy work, you can clean it up faster than taking it to them will take.

If it's an actually leak, it will be either the drain plug or the filter housing. Both easy to see........ and the folk here want to know. :D

It was a scored drain plug gasket. Tech probably tightened the shit out of it. Also came with a free wash and complimentary swirl marks .

Precision Toyota Tucson if anybody feeling brave for their next service.

Lol, if someone can't deal with a cartridge filter, they probably don't need to be turning wrenches.

My dealer had a brand new building made about 7 years back. They do not have a wash bay and the lot employees do not wash vehicles.

It could have been worse. At least they put oil back in and didn't strip the drain plug (hopefully) Do the oil changes yourself to make sure they're done right.

Fired the dealer at the first service (the 5k/6 mo)

I got home and found a lug nut missing, grabbed and twisted the others on that wheel and they all were easy to turn by hand. The grease monkey put on the wheel and spun on the lugs without tightening them. The one fell off and thank God the others somehow held. I was on the highway doing 70 on the way home and losing a wheel then would have been a possible severe wreck for me and somebody else.

The others were on so tight I needed my breaker and a cheater pipe to get off telling me they put them on with an impact till it wouldn’t tighten anymore and he probably got distracted by his instagram when he needed to do the last one. Truck has never seen the dealer again for any maintenance I can do.

I do not have a problem with a loose drain plug. I have a 4-inch hole in the skid plate and was tired of oil getting all over it. So I installed the NO-Spill System. Works great!
