Sway a way rear shocks

Selling Sway away 2.5 inch remote res with threaded body and 16inch stroke. Mock up never run them off road. Had them on the truck a while and then around the shop so they are scratched and dingy but they can be cleaned up.

can be shipped at buyers expense. They are heavy so it will prob cost around $100-$150

Pardon my ignorance but, why do the look as though they have a thread on the shock body? As if a collar was intended to go on there...

 

These are 16" travel, they probably can have a 3" dual spring set-up on them.
