    Got a weird one…
    2019 tacoma

Hit a pot hole and the dash lit up like an xmas tree for about 10 seconds, even said PCS and VSC unavailable.

The truck seems fine but I’m wondering what might have happened.

My guess is one of the wheels was off the ground while under throttle, getting the magical computer functions upset. Lights cleared when it settled down.

Had similar happen with an abrupt bounce on graded road in a '04 Highlander. And it didn't have near the wizardry of your truck.

Totalled. How big was this pothole? Gotta be careful! Some potholes where I live, if your not local, you won't know they are there until it's too late and they are big enough to seriously mess your vehicles up or worse. Drive safe! Hope nothing is messed up on your taco. Did you get out and inspect for any damage?

I had the same thing happen once hitting an uneven/bumpy section on the freeway once. It turned off the cruise control and the VSC/PSC warnings came on for a few seconds and then turned off. It's never happened again and I haven't had any issues, I wouldn't worry about it. As someone previously stated, you probably just had a wheel lose contact with the ground very briefly and confused the rather sensitive computer.

    Check build thread!
Take it to a shop, have it aligned. If the lights are gone now, I wouldn’t worry. Could’ve just hit hard enough to slightly loosen a connection. I guess check wheel speed sensors and stuff too.

I am wondering about a wheel sensor. Seems like this happened to me when I had a Tundra previously. Turned out a sensor had been going bad. The only difference for me was there was no pothole experience.

If it was a wheel sensor it would probably not just go away. Sounds like the system did not like what happened but cleared itself.

I had a similar thing happen with a parking lot tire chock. The parking lot at work is one way. If I don't beat the trash truck to the parking lot on the two days a week it comes, it blocks the entrance for seven to eight minutes. If it's there, I pull in the exit, drive down the bus drop off lane, and over the parking chocks (without slowing down) to pull into my usual space. Sometimes the truck does not like it and I will get a complaint via the dash warning lights. I just yell "Shut up, and suck it up, princess, I didn't drive you off a loading dock". The truck calms down after a minute in its "safe space" parking spot. Millennials right? My old truck would have just said, "Thank you sir, may I have another!" Kids these days.

Thinking maybe I should check my fuse panel and make sure nothing is loose?

It was weird. Bang, hit the pothole, and all the dash lights came on, then went out a few seconds later. It wasnt even that bad of a hit just a regular type of pothole experience.

Ive had the traction light come on plenty of times when the wheels were slipping, but only ever that one light. Poor taco is getting sick of my shit

That’s a crappy looking road, but I don’t think any of those imperfections qualify as pot holes.
