Regeared to 4.56 and locked it. I was fairly surprised that the front and rear Harrop lockers come with identical switches, but that means little to someone with access to basic office supplies. Waiting for traffic to clear up, and then I'll be doing my break-in drive tonight. Hopefully will get a chance to test the lockers out on Saturday, too.

I let my daughter drive it! We bought it for her, but after flipping her Jeep, she has not been really wild about driving. I've been driving it and I really miss a truck. I currently have a Wrangler JK 2 Door. I think I'm going to have to look for a 2 door Tacoma that I can build a little!

Did you have to do any trimming to fit the switches. Just had Premier do 4.56 in mine with Harrop up front rear is factory e-locker. Thinking of tucking the bed power switch away and moving the fog light switch to that position and putting the Harrop switch to the left of the factory rear locker switch. Or just put the Harrop switch into the bed power switch position.

She flipped it on a patch of ice. That was her one and only time "off roading".

I had a shop do the install, but there wasn't any trimming as far as I know.

I like this, but I'll probably move on to the rotary-style F/R locker switch before changing the buttons out. I do like the lockout functionality of the Harrop switches - no way to accidentally engage it. That being said, I'll eventually get around to labeling the switches with a paint pen and get rid of the stickers.

I had one on my truck with 37" tires and stock 3.73 gears. I switched the gears to 5.29 and after the regear it was slightly better than the Pedal Commander with stock gears. There's guys on TW that insist the PC is exactly the same as smashing the go pedal to the floor and they back it up with knowledge, technical language, and testing with fancy machines - none of which I understand. However when I drove my truck it was definitely not the same as smashing the go pedal and it wasn't even close. After the regear the PC couldn't be used as the truck was just too jumpy with the go pedal.

I hate it when people **ck with my sh!t and hate it more when they take my sh!t. With over 3 decades doing insurance replacement I know the thieves will go to the easiest target 99.9% of the time. Plus the down time while the truck is waiting for its repair after being vandalized.

    X2

Pedal Commander. Loved by some and hated by some. Your results may vary.

Oh sure, I'm not shitting on anyone's choice here. People get things for different reasons and most people seem to think that catalytic theft is a crime of opportunity that is easily shut down. And for some it might be, but if you're parking your vehicle in an overnight lot somewhere, or basically anywhere other than your garage/driveway where noise isn't the main deterrent, it's less likely to deter someone who has slim pickings. Now if there's a bunch of other high clearance vehicles to get to, sure, I would absolutely rely on the dingus to pass over your Taco for those. Just like there's a small chance of being the target, there's a small chance of deterrence.

Maybe once mine get cut off and replaced, I'll invest in something like this, or weld rebar across the cats, or similar.

For anyone curious, or for anyone trying to source the H4 Bi-lux super brights for their ultimate headlight mod - I just got confirmation from Osram that these are legit.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/255305459901

I bought four sets and sent off the pictures of all the packaging and the bulbs to Osram for confirmation.
