Hey yall! I am looking for info. I have a 97 tacoma 2.7l with a 5 speed manual tyranny, transfer case, and 4wd assembly. I'm wanting to know if this stuff will swap to a 01 to 04 tacoma prerunner 3.4l 4door? Any advise is much appreciated!

The simple answer is yes as long as the the 01-04 is the a 2.7 with a w59 manual. Only wiring you will need to do is wire up the 4x4 indicator light.
If both trucks are extra cab or both regular cab you will need the drive shaft from the old truck.

Things you need to install for 4wd.
    Manual hubs and spindles
    CV axles
    Front differential with diff tube
    Front drive shaft
W59 transmission with j-shift transfer case
    Rear drive shaft.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I am not sure I ran into this back in the late eighties Toyota 4x4`s.

To make your W59 Trans work with the 3.4 engine just use the W59 Flywheel and Clutch kit because the R150F flywheel has a different bolt pattern The splines on the transmissions are different.

This is off the Top of my head so it might be wrong !!

Then your dealing with rear drive shaft length

    Good luck!!
