    Sub’d!

I’m glad this thread is here. I felt like I was the only one interested in a low profile, winch capable aluminum bumper. I’m a ways out from needing a bumper but I assumed that I would have to eventually learn how to weld myself and make exactly what I was after...

I agree with the views others have stated thus far, that the SSO full slime line bumper is essentially perfect, but only offered in steel :(

I wish I liked the Victory 4x4 bumper more, as it is a local company to me, but the logo placement kinda kills it for me. Pretty much the only thing it has going is that it’s a no-cut* set up.

Glad to see that im not completely alone and that maybe by the time I’m ready to purchase a company will decide to cover this corner of the market.

    Also following…

I’d like an aluminum low profile I don’t have to hack the truck up to install. I live in a state that requires a front license plate which also complicates it.

Haven’t seen quite the right one out there yet. The Victory 4x4 is close, but if I’m spending that kind of money it’s got to be perfect.

Any updates, folks? Was happy to see this thread; disappointed by the only 2 pages...telling of what's out there, of course. Anyone have a better pros/cons for steel vs. aluminum than the one victory 4x4 gives?

Because there isn't much. I wanted aluminum but didn't find anything that I liked so I'll be getting a steel bumper. To me the perfect bumper is the SSO Slimline Tube in aluminum - not an option so steel it is!

Oh wow, that’s a new one for me, and it looks like it effects the approach angle even less than the hiline. Did they powder coat it for you?

edit: looks like I have an excuse to get up to BC…probably why I hadn’t heard of them. Also, their site says trimming of the bumper is required.

Any reason why their website says you have to trim the plastic to make it fit?

Because you do. It's less trimming than SSO, SOS, or CBI, but there's still trimming.

I'm fairly certain you need to cut/trim along this red line.

OP may not be aware, as it sounds like he paid a shop to install it...

They pretend to be all cordial with their "Soorry" and "Hey dare fella's"... but all the while, they're stabbing you in the back...

No, but I'm kind of breaking the rules here because there are so few of these low-profile bumpers/ winch supplements that I figured it wouldn't hurt to consolidate all option into this forum.
