Glad to see this thread is still alive and well :)

I'm still following main site and utilizing our gym at work. 5on/2off, no deviation from the program for years now

Sup guys, haven’t joined in on this shin dig cause fitness has taken a back seat the for the past 8 months...:anonymous: got real sick for 3 months then new job right after kinda just been moving a feed days a week to keep mobility and muscle memory sharp.. it’s about time to get the ball rolling again though. November last year was my last month of dedicated training and I hit a bunch of huge milestones at that time so it’ll be interesting to see how long it takes.

Shouldn't take too long to get back in the swing of things. Aerobic capacity on the other hand...

Yeah I still routinely hit around 80% but lately that’s all I’ve had time to do. But my tolerance to Volume/recovery is the worst it’s ever been in my life. The only benefit of this whole shit show is that I cleaned a few bad habits up in the process.

I still have the hardest time getting my aerobic capacity up. Usually only really goes up when I start to hike on off days

Depends on how your crossfit box run their programs.

If they allow noObs to join in and do stuff like snatches and clean and jerks for time, then...:bananadead:

Well ya. It's not the program itself, but individuals administering it poorly. I've dropped into quite a few gyms traveling for work. You can tell almost immediately which ones are like that. No/minimal/ unguided warm-up, no skills review etc.. just get in, grip and rip. Stuff like that and letting noobs try and use anything other than PVC for the first few months is a recipe for disaster.

I intersperse CrossFit (main site WODs) work with my regular weight lifting. Keeps me honest.
