18DDDC13-009B-49BC-A645-C0FBA001EA40.jpg Hi everyone, I recently decided to put a ski rack on my truck for snowboarding this season. I decided bed mount was the best option because nice roof racks are $$$ and cheap roof bars don’t look very good.

I decided on Hooke road bed bars. Overall better quality than I expected. They did send the wrong mounting bracket initially but got me the correct one within a few days.

for the board racks I choose bougerv off of Amazon. Good quality for the price and 1/3 of the name brands.

Install is easy and takes about 30 minutes. Pretty sturdy and no worries about security.

I really like the look of this! My only concern would be a situation where a potential accident causes the snowboard to intrude into the cabin. Looks like a guillotine under the right conditions. I have a roof top box that would be utilized for this, if I were still going skiing/snowboarding. But I do like how the setup looks. And the concern is probably minimal, its just what popped into my head looking at that snowboard at head level.

I have a Pace Edwards tonneau with slots in the bed rails to add racks.

I understand that concern, It would take quite the hit to knock everything loose. I was surprised by the quality of all cheap parts:)
