BSM INOP. Help

My BSM switch when pressed won’t even illuminate. There is no message or anything but the switch itself seems like it’s not getting power.

Does anybody have knowledge on the wiring system connecting to said switch? I’ve tried my hand at researching and someone said the BSM has a junction connector that ties in with TPMS. I’m wondering if it’s a loop and maybe the BSM sensors aren’t receiving the power causing the switch to not work.

I drive without it just fine. I’d look over my shoulder regardless of if it worked or not, it’s just a 42,000 dollar vehicle that has this feature and I’d like it to be functional. Other Tacoma owners I’m sure you all understand where I’m coming from.

 

You have a 19, take it to the dealer and have them fix it under warranty. I had that same problem, it was a broken wire in the harness behind the taillight
