2022 Trd Pro Tacoma deliveries

I placed a deposit for a 2022 TRD Pro Tacoma in Super White in late November 2021, my initial eta for delivery was 1/25/22 however it has been getting pushed back about every month, i am now up to a June delivery.

My question is is this just my dealer specifically or is this all 2022 Pro's in general. is there any 2022 Pro's on the road right now in Ontario?

 

Did you get a temp vin or anything or is your dealer still waiting to get allocation? A truck that’s been already allocated being delayed 6 months is odd…but it’s probably realistic if your salesman is giving you can estimate of June of when they might get allocation for one

 

Im not entirely sure how the allocations work to be honest, but they had told me in November that this specific was already incoming for January, i just basically put my name on it. so i'm assuming it was allocated to them. as for temp vin or any of that i got nothing

 

Gotcha. Ask your sales guy for a temp vin. Once you get the temp vin you can keep an eye on it and once it goes inactive it means your truck is actually built. You can look at the big 2022 order thread for more info on how to do this exactly, I think you just have to enter it on Toyotas website. But I think the first step would be getting the temp vin from your salesman to prove the truck was allocated in the first place
