Will have to look into that. I can see where a softer tray that won't slide around would be beneficial.

I got two of these on sale a few years back. They are solid and fold away easy. I really would like a jaw horse, but I can’t justify the cost.

Will check those out. All excellent choices.

I do have a Jaw Horse, a roller stand, old school B&D Work mate. And two older steel with supplied wood rail sawhorses but I have and old very heavy door on them for my temp work surface until construction is done. OH and I have one of the spider table things which is damned nice for temporary work.

BUT I just need some more saw horses! I ordered these: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01MSZP19L?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details for rough work and such.

    I HATE THIS KIND: https://smile.amazon.com/Century-Drill-Tool-72990-Brackets/dp/B005H39T8E?pd_rd_i=B005H39T8E

    THANKS!!!

I got a folding steel set similar to these years ago at a yard sale, had everything from mower decks to a truck bed on them.
Metal so welding is no problem.
The adjustable height is the best feature for me, they go up quite high. My back doesn't allow for a partially bent posture.

The metal horses under the grate have a treated and channeled 2x4 bolted to them, 22 years old, have been used for a multitude of things fab and woodworking, they fold for storage, these have been outside for years. Here I’m building a welding table so I can get my horses back for wood projects…..

As many as I can fabricate
Exactly. At $20 a pop, it would be paid off fast. Another good money maker is a hydraulic press for bushings, bearings. It's a money maker.

Just moved into a new-to-us house, talking to my neighbor a bit and saw this gem on the side of his house. He said he was going to get rid of it so he just gave it to me.
I’ve been looking for a solid vise forever, who would have thought.

Fortunate for sure. But do keep looking for one that pivots about the clamping axis (not just the mounting -base- axis). Mine has proved invaluable with it's versatility!
My vise and my homemade workbench have now followed me to five different houses because I'd be lost with out them.
