It rained a little and it was super windy before I went to bed. I didnt wake up at all last night so it must have not been that bad. Just let the dog out and the pavement is pretty much dry already as if we didnt get anything.

    Sure!

I'm 36. Single. No kids. I'm the middle child of five and the closest thing we got to an extrovert. Three of my siblings are married with kids, so I 'm the cool aunt to 4 girls and 1 boy so far. (both my parents are from big families) Grew up in Baltimore, moved out to western MD in the mid 90's. Went to college near Buffalo NY to be a teacher. Did a student teaching semester in Bern, Switzerland. Tried teaching in MD after college. It was a disaster, so I got into publishing and moved to Williamsburg, VA. Got into web design and worked in north Baltimore, then Martinsburg, WV. Got recruited for health care in Frederick, MD. Was part of the lay offs during COVID, so I decided to try home care. Been a caregiver the last year and I really enjoy it, but it doesn't really pay the bills, so I'm starting dry-lay masonry in a week. That's why I gotta transform myself into a morning person. :annoyed:Basically, I've moved a lot and my career makes no sense, but it's been a wild ride and I wouldn't really change anything other than figuring out what I love sooner and maybe trying trade school instead of college. It took about 10 years, but I got out of debt.

I like to travel and been fair number of places (got a long list of places to go still), but I'm terrified of flying so I gotta psych myself up for it. I prefer driving. I like animals, got one kitty right now. Built a small 6x8 pond myself a few years ago and added some fish and turtles. Now every spring tons of toads descend upon it and a few weeks later the surface is covered with tadpoles. My brother took it upon himself to teach me how to be a gym rat, so I've tried to continue that habit several times a week. The results are kinda nice. I also play volleyball every week. I love watching football. Raven's fan, naturally.

Same brother took me on a trip with his friend to the Assateague Island overnight last fall. That was my first overlanding experience. It pretty much rocked my world. A month later I bought my taco. Couple months later, I wandered in here. :taco:

Nice! Sounds like you’ve had a wild ride. Glad you are happy where that journey landed you. New jobs are always exciting, what will you be doing?
