Front axle to transfer case movement

    I crawled under my truck for the first time in a while and notice that the front axles are somewhat loose when I grabbed them and rotated them. Is this normal?

    Normal, if the drivers side has excessive play there's a ECGS bushing that replaces the stock needle bearing to resolve it. But some play is normal

    It is completely normal to have play on inner axle where it connects to the center clamshell. The left (driver's) will have a little more play. Nothing to worry about.
