    It's not unheard of for the computer to show better mileage. Do you have larger tires? If you do you can also calculate it to take an account for the further distance you traveled. So since the computer is programmed to know what the stock tires travel in one rotation it wont know what the new tires travel in one rotation. I have slightly taller tires so when I calculate my MPGs it's generally about a half an MPG better than what my trip meter tells me.
