    That reminds me of this guy I saw picking his way down the Flint Trail in the Maze district of Canyonlands National Park last spring.
    Totally stock EXterra with like 10 5 gallon plastic cans of gas ratchet strapped to his roof rack. The guy would get out, hike down the trail a hundred feet or so, hike back to his car, drive a hundred feet, get out hike down and so on.
    When he finally drove past us you could smell gasonline.
    I think that may have been one of the most sketchy things I've seen in the backcountry.

    Gas price just went up 25 cents in the last 2 hours here in Lathrop.

    I paid 5.24 two hours ago. One of my guys just paid 5.49 at the same station.

    I paid $5.69/gallon yesterday. It cost me $50 to top off my truck and my tank was already 3/4 full. :annoyed:

    bring a propane tank and fire pit! Less weight and easier fire management
