    Hey All,

First post, long time lurker. Brain hurts trying to search schematics and threads. No idea when or how long this 2 wire plug has been broken… but does anyone know what it’s for? Suggestions on an easy way to splice/repair these with the short ends?

Looks like the Purge VSV. You should fix it.
If you don’t you’ll probably throw an emissions/ EVAP code.

I’ve had a couple dash warning lights on for quite a while. I expected it was because I (presumably) needed a new catalytic converter… based on what the dealership said the code came back with. Warning has been on for about a year but I wasn’t about to replace the cat because it would mean my whole exhaust since I’ve had a sleeve welded on previously. If my dash warning lights go out after fixing that, I’ll be elated. Elated and disappointed in myself because I didn’t see it till now considering I’m frequently under the hood.
