    If you're trying to save weight you can skip the aftermarket front bumper and just install a front hitch that can run a winch.

    Your truck is fully capable of taking moderate trails as it is. I've taken my stock OR up several 4x4 trails here in Colorado including Loch Lomond. Which is nothing but rocks for a few miles. The stock Goodyear's performed just fine. Upgraded skids could be a good idea but unless you plan to take the rougher, rocky trails they really aren't necessary. As others have said, get some decent recovery gear & go from there.

    Sliders are the best first mod it's not cheap to fix a rocker panel that's about it
