Just recently ordered a 2022 Tacoma and found a lot of tips here already.
I know, basically the worst time ever to buy a new vehicle, but my 2006 Dakota just died and I need something new.
I could be waiting up to 3 months for the new truck. Will be planning accessories and mods the whole time.
My order is a 2022 DCSB, MGM, 4x4 TRD OR.
I wanted a long bed, but apparently can't get that now without about $4k of options I don't want and can't afford.
Hope to have good discussions here

Great source of advice from a Rust Belt Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician. AMD works at a dealership and has lots experiences with all Toyota models, and tells it as he's seen it. His six episode series explains all things Tacoma. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeFzfl0Q8rQXkSiT50RyVAkC_JIHXw318 Enjoy! (I'm really happy with the RedLine Tuning hood QuickLift strut kit, and glad the bottom bracket uses screws so I didn't have to pull too many steel rivets. No prop rod! AMD installed the Toyota strut lift kit on the hood of his new Camry XSE after delivery.) On his advice, I looked at VLEDs dot com and ordered a pair of LED bulbs, 850 lumens 5000K back-up lights. I have heard that it gets rather dark during the winter here at 49 degrees north, but having retired from 60 degrees, 33 minutes north, I'm happy to have more daylight during the winter! Have fun every day! and enjoy the welcome from The Car Care Nut channel!

    Finally, an update.
Never got a build date update, temp VIN or anything like that, but yesterday got a text that a truck for me had arrived.
    Picked it up today.
I wanted a long bed, but DCLB's don't seem to be getting sent to SoCal; though NotCal dealers seem to have some
So, got my next alternative - 2023 MGM DCSB 4x4 TRD OR
Not too many port add-ons. Blackout, floor mats and door sill, and bed lights I'm good with.
Black exhaust tip is better than chrome, woulda preferred neither.
TRD shift knob, I don't even know what's different.
Mudguards I will probably take off soon.
Really glad no door protectors or Predator steps.

Time to start some minor mods and order a shell.
