I feel so stupid but I've been stuck fumbling with this for the last 2 days.

I'm trying to replace the factory bulbs with the yellow ones from Yotaverse.com. They were like $40, figured it'd be a nice cheap easy way to have yellow fogs.

Well, when I reach down behind the fog light from the top of the truck, I can remove the wiring harness, but cannot remove the bulb that is in place. All the videos online say to turn the bulb a 1/4 turn and it'll come out easily.
Man I've applied serious force to this damn thing and cannot remove it!

This is what mine looks like for reference (the harness is plugged in in this picture, FYI):IMG_0508.HEIC.jpg

Are those not the factory LED fogs?

Looks like those are the LED version which do not have removable bulbs.

Those are the LED fog light units. Non removable bulb. If you want good yellow fog lights get these from Diode Dynamics.

Wow, thank you guys. I thought I was going crazy. I assumed they were factory Fog LED's. I did buy the truck used though (only had 9,000 miles), but its possible previous owner swapped them.

Unfortunately not as clutch as you'd think. The yellow lamin-x will turn halogen warm white colored output yellow. If placed over a 6000k blueish LED output, you get greenish output.

Good call-out. For $20 I'll give it a shot though.

Research on YouTube. Lamin-X on led seems to be…yellow.

Going to cut output significantly, and still not result in yellow. You could buy a sheet of -2 green filter laminate and that might help under the yellow overlay, but you're still stuck trying to allow a very small % of yellow wavelengths out from a primarily blue wavelength heavy lightsource.

If you're just after "the look," then fine. Whatever, however many layers and filters it takes to get to a wee bit of yellow light. But if you want to have actual, useable amounts of yellow light then other steps are going to have to be taken. Namely replacing the lamp assembly.
