Hello all. I will be installing demon brackets in my 2022 trd sport. I would like to know if anyone has installed these and if they torqued them or just a air gun. Also blue or red loctite. Thanks

As long as you understand they are really just for looks and not actual recovery points you’ll be fine just torquing them to whatever the install paperwork says. Don’t use red locktite.

Those things look like they're begging to get ripped off. Dangerous to call those a tow hook replacement

Yeah - I had a set on my truck at one point with some shackles…purely aesthetic

uses factory bolts that are already there and I had tightened them since like the previous post says….NOT RECOVERY POINTS

Sounds good thanks. I don't plan on off roading intentionally so really just going for looks. May go with a whole bumper or bull bar with winch down the line for actual recovery. Something made for that

minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
You can laugh about, but I been pulled out of deep snow (twice) and out of deep clay mud once, using them. Yes, I been skeptical about, but they works, especially placing
tow strap thru both of them, anyways, that's what I did. Sorry, no pictures, all three cases of pull done by random farm equipment, so no time to make pictures before/after.
Thanks to those people and God bless!

Thanks. I think in an emergency i would be willing to give them a go. I have heard elsewhere to put the straps through both as well. I used loctite just to make them harder to steal. I park outside in chicago so anything is possible. Shackles have set security screws in them so they are harder to steal
