Got my Summer Tires and Rims on today. Winter tires are on the Original Rims and have at least 4 Winters left on them still. I will see how my Original Tires last but not a fair test because my driving with the cost of Gasoline now will be a trip to town once a week to get food. This is about 30 miles a week and I have enough gas to drive for one year at that rate at home! Could just say screw it and not buy anymore I have 3 cars topped off and 50 gals of Premium non-alcohol with 100 gals of Diesel to run my Tractor for a year. Bought it for $3.40 a gallon now worth $200.00 more. Even my Premium is worth over $100.00 more and that is going up every day. I feel for people driving to work every day! Just glad I though ahead while seeing what was happening!!

 

Ha! I didn't realize that! I'll have to search back and read about it. They don't seem much different than the flimsy caps that were in there.

Got home from work.. pushed the "start" button two or three times wondering why it would shut the engine down. Turned out I was pushing the 4wd knob. I had a long day.

Swapped my SS3 ditch lights for SSC2's. I don't know why but these DD brackets seem ridiculously tall. They probably aren't, but whatever. I should have gone with the SSC2's for how rarely I use the ditch lights anyways and I do like the look better. Much smaller profile. In the SS3's I had a combo pattern, and in the SSC2's I opted for just the driving pattern. Sent my DRT LCA skids to get powder coated to match the TRD skid, so they should be back in a couple days. I was going to go for the R4T ones, but complaints of rusting and not being in stock with no ETA on availability led me to DRT. The quality is great. They don't have full skids or steps though, and I wish they did. I'm going to contact the dealer because my Predator steps are already destroyed. The black paint on the front of the steps is non existent. This is after ONE winter here. I am going to ask them if they will replace them with C4 0 degree sliders and I'll just cover the difference.

How do you like them? I'm contemplating purchasing the MOLLE panels compatible with my Bakflip cover but I'll lose functionality of the side bed rails. Are the panels sturdy enough to hook straps or cargo net to?

 

Are you using this at your house to park one front tire on?
