Bought a Jayco 165 lite camper. 2870LBS empty. Looking for advice from people with a similar rig. I plan on ordering a weight distribution hitch, mirror extenders, a brake controller and a new set of D rated tires. any sugestions?

Your provisions sound great. I haven't towed a camper or anything but have other things in my Tacoma. Id also consider an upgraded leaf pack and shocks. These would help to improve the level in addition to your other mods. The ride would also greatly improve under all that weight.

    Looks like fun!

I really like my red arc brake controller for the instillation.

You might want consider Sumo springs or something similar if not new leaf pack.
