    Hello!

just was wondering what a fair price would be for a local shop to install both front spacer and rear block?? Looking to get this done within the next couple weeks! Thank you!

I would recommend staying away from spacer lifts. They alter the geometry Of your suspension. Good entry level is bilstein 5100s and an AAL. Whole kit can be had for 1000-1500. Install maybe another 500. Rough guess and will vary on location

    400-500$ + Alignment

You likely will need the ECGS bushing if you get the vibration in the footwell after the leveling kit is completed. Read up on ECGS bushing here.

I agree with not using spacers. I too recommend the Bilstein 5100s in the front and an add a leaf or a block. You can get a 2" Bilstein kit with Eibach coils for 900.00 only thing is all or most of the Bilstein stuff is on back order.
If you go with the spacers its about a 4 hour job at at least 100.00 per hour

Toyota installed my Eibach coils and 1” blocks for $800, if that reference helps (considering a stealership has that name for a reason).

I'm doing it myself but for the hell of it I called three shops and they all quoted four hours but that was for installing a actual lift so yeah, you are correct just installing spacers would be less time

Front spacers yuk. Anyway last Fall my local shop in CT charged me $325 to install 4- 5100’s , 1” rear blocks, 4 Timbren SES, and the alignment+ rotation . Installing your spacers will require a bit less work.. I supplied all parts.
Also, I haven’t had any bushing issues with my 2+1 lift/levels. Not on my 2nd gen with 200k , nor my 3rd gen with 6K miles(5k with lift.)

Where is this CT shop? I'll be looking for one soon and that sounds like a solid deal.

It’s the same amount of labor for a spacer lift if the stock top plate bolts need to be replaced with longer ones (which is the case for a 1” spacer that gives 2” of lift). You still have to disassemble the front coilovers and deal with spring compressors like you would with some new Bilsteins. But if you’re getting new complete coilovers, they come pre-assembled, so those are actually less labor to install than a spacer lift, since you just remove and replace the entire coilover assemblies.

As others have said this is a fairly easy lift to do IF you have all the tools needed, I'm in Castle Rock but if you were closer I'd play forman and drink your beer!

All lifts "Alter the Geometry of the suspension".
Depending on your intended use of the truck there is nothing wrong with spacers. Just be aware that spacer increase the down travel of the suspension and can cause damage to your truck's bushings and possible binding of the tri-bearings in your CV axles. if you flex the suspension too much. But if it's just for appearance and mild offroading then spacer should not be a problem.

Spacer lifts are really easy to install. However a 2" spacer lift will require that you grind down the factory studs on the top cap of the coils. The factory studs are longer than the spacer is tall.
The blocks in the rear are also simple to install. (You'll need longer U-bolts)
Should take about 1-2 hrs. to install. So the shop labor charge can be calculated. Average labor is $100 per hour some places more some places less.
And as mentioned you will need an alignment. Normally runs about $90.

Again you need to determine how you will be using your truck? There is a proper level of upgrade for any type of use.
I don't see the need to over spend if you never plan on using it.

    Good Luck!
