Just ordered and picked up the “10-Present Tacoma OEM Fit Toyota Tacoma Air Compressor Kit × 1”

For those that have done the install, I have a couple of questions.
Install instructions (which, admittedly, aren’t the best) mention a jig for drilling a hole for the harness to pass through. Did your kit come with a jig? Mine did not. Since the hole is just to allow the wiring to pass through, it’s not a precision-critical hole.
Also, where does the short black wire (maybe the ground wire) in the picture connect to? The harness obviously connects to the compressor unit, but where should the short wire go?

Thanks for any and all help.

Is that the NSV compressor ? If so I have the same one . Didn’t have to drill no hole and you till find where ever the wire reaches to to ground a ground .

Awesome, thank you. Do you happen to have pictures of how you ran the wires, specifically leading to the unit itself?

    No worries, thank you.
I’m not well versed in doing anything remotely electrical-inclined. Would you mind sharing where you ended up grounding that wire? I haven’t had a chance to look too closely at the area for install, but also don’t want to screw something up. Thanks again for your help!

On a side note, how are you liking that compressor? Barely any reviews that I can find from actual users.
