Hey everybody, I’ve been having some issues with my 2013 Toyota Tacoma. My Tacoma is making this non stop tickering noise majority of the time when I have the truck in drive but when I’m not accelerating the truck and have my foot on the break. Any idea what maybe possibly causing it? Doesn’t make the noise in any other gear but only in drive.

Ticketing noise? Probably that cop that is telling you he clocked you doing 20 over.

I'd probably start with getting under there the best you can and look for something loose that is vibrating in sympathy with the engine while it's stopped. Is it a mechanical sound or more electrical in nature like a relay? Possibly something like a brake light relay that isn't adjusted correctly or has gotten moved a bit.

Have you checked if it is the normal tacoma tick? If it is then there is nothing to worry about and the only way to get rid of it is by turning off the engine.
