I was the last a holdout on keeping the bed boxes. I was installing a soft topper last night, and the bed boxes interfered with the pivot arm on the soft topper. So, a careful 30-60min install turned into a half install, uninstall, trip to hardware store for the one torx bit I lost, searching around for a headlamp because it got dark, bedbox uninstall, clean out space in basement for big boxes, 80% soft top install, fuck it I’ll finish tomorrow, sleep. 2+ hours to do what would be 40 min the next time (there won’t be a next time).

Long story short, soft topper doesn’t pivot with bed boxes.

 

How long did it take for your softopper? I ordered mine on February 2nd and still no dice.

 

I ordered mine the week after Feb 4 because that’s when I got the truck. Soft topper is black DCSB version.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. Can I play with yall? Edit: Mine didn’t have the air dam but did include mud flaps. My dealer adds KARR security and paint protection for $1k on all their cars. No additional mark up.

 

First "mod": Wheel Locks. Lined it up with the valve stem because OCD.

 

Well...Your center cap would be aligned with the stem/lock nut too if you were reeeeeally OCD...

Then I'd have to make someone remount my tire to line up as well. Then make sure when they put it on the ground, they're all facing the same direction.

 

Yeah just make sure your tires never slip otherwise you'll have to do it all over again lol

 

I've been researching ways to add more anchor points for straps, and I noticed that my/our trucks don't have the rail system along the center section of the bed, just under the rear window. Looks like I'll need part

What?? Mine has the regular rail system over top the storage boxes. It’s hard to use them with those boxes but you can get them in toward the tailgate and slide them anywhere.
