I had to look it up too and was chuckling that it was actually an accurate measurement.

Gotta shove mountain bikes under it though! I wish there was something better than an RTT, but I haven't found it yet.

Who’s running a stock length uca setup with the LCA pivots here? Trying to decide on what shocks to go with so I can move the lower control arm forward. I imagine my 6112s are no longer an option

Well gas prices shot up to 4.20 here in Utah today. Up 70 cents from 3 weeks ago. Can’t imagine what it’s like in California. :frusty:

Thanks, good to know. Really didn’t want to spend a ton of money on shocks yet

I’m installing mine this weekend with 5100’s. Pivots with the .25 caster arms to run the whole inch forward. Harry did a good job at explaining it on the website under the product descriptions. I will get the slide rack and install when I go get it in may. Remember there was talk of the spring hitting the tie rod after pushing the arm forward but think that was with the LT kits. Can’t remember.

I was wondering who else got the nautical reference. I guess the navy failed @EatSleepTacos in that regard.

I mean I know what a fathom is, but can’t exactly convert it in my head.

Fathom is a much easier conversion to in/ft than metric conversion.

    Yes
No, that issue is not specific to longer arms. Your tie rods or tie rods ends hitting your coil overs damn near happens with a 100% stock set up close to lock. Think about it this way - the location of the tie rod is a fixed point so if you move the lower control arm forward it moves your coil over forward with it toward the tie rod. So, if you move the LCA forward without the JD steering slide rack that also moves the inner tie rod forward your tie rods and your coil overs are going to dry hump each other like 14 year olds that just discovered...dry humping
