So I wasn't going to start a Build Threat till I had some momentum but I'm Allot of money into this now and its def happening, which I knew all along it would, but there was some clowns being clowns in my other posts!!!

    What I'm doing and WHY!!
The D2 has nothing but a rolling chassis under it with a steering box! the end goal is for this to be 4x4 daily driver that will tow anything that "I NEED IT TO" not tow anything!! I own a LT35 hydraulic mobile saw mill and that besides maybe snowmobiles or a tractor (small) will be the most I tow as far as weight. In the state of maine the when your doing something like I am and making it a daily driver it has to be registered as a passenger vehicle and as such Be Inspected as a passenger vehicle. In order todo this I have to have it all be essentially DOT certified for the state when they come and give me a new VIN Number to take down and have Inspected!! So this is where the tacoma comes in. V6 2nd Gens (not all, but most) have a 6000+ rated towing capacity. because I'm using that chassis from a tacoma that capacity will legally carry over for me. Ontop of that I owned a 2014 and a 2016 tacoma and know them well (Sold the 2016 W/70k miles to fund this project) and absolutely love how they handle as a daily driver and perform in the winter!!

So now were on to the fun stuff. not all of this is set in stone Except the Motor and Transmission..........

~I will be slapping a R2.8 Cummins W/ Tremec Tr-4050 Bolted to it from QuickDraw. Behind that will be an advanced adapters kit with an NP205 Twinstick Bolted to to That.

~In the Rear I think I will now be going with a Dynatrack D60 for a JK with disc brakes. the cost is 5500 as opposed too ECGS costing 5100 and I dont even get disc brakes! The dynatrack has a 1/2" offset to the drivers side on the pinion but I dont know that will be a problem yet. (I'm not exactly a driveline expert and never been down the habit hole so feel free to chime IN) My other concern is D60 unsprung weight. but I want this thing to be stupid bullet proof and Never have to worry about anything failing.

~The Front end will Have an ECGS third with the AWD full built with locker and all the yummy!! both front and rear will run 4.10 gears with ARB Lockers. 4:10 seems off but for the motor and tremor and 33s. its right where I want the RPMS according to cummins calculator....

~the NP205 just sounds god awful heavy to me. but it will also NEVER DIE, and the price is right

~THE Weakest point in all of this is the Front end with the aluminum case. but I'm not sending this up rocks wide open. soooo should be good. The frame is my next week point but I can weld like a bastard so I will be boxing the entire frame and cross bracing.

~I will be rolling with the OME BP-51
I feel As tho this Is a great Start and will get me some feed back, Please Dont respond with stupid posts its just not fun for me and makes me not want too even do a build thread. if you seriously dont have anything constructive then just dont. There are people who want to follow along!!

Im 36, No I have never done anything like this. Yes I have Built vehicles from the ground up. but they were all stock, Yeah I been working on heavy trucks the majority of my life, I have also built two houses by myself, and I build and operate subsea robots that build underwater oilfields in 15,000Feet OF Sea Water. I promise you I will figure this shit out and get it done.
