My 2021 Off Road has a sweet spot at 40 mph in 5th gear. If I’m actually getting 25 mpg then I’m pretty stoked.

Yea, it pisses folks off in the 55 mph zone but I keep to the right and lay low.

Nice but no way am I being "that guy" for 4 mpg. Ordered a manual trans access cab so fingers crossed it comes in the 4-6 months...

You can manually put the automatic in 5th gear if you want. Or any other gear you choose. You just don't have to use the clutch pedal. And a 25 mile trip doesn't mean anything. I've gotten as much as 40 mpg over a 20-25 mile stretch. And as low a 4 mpg. With an F150.

You can actually get a ticket for going too slow In my state. 15 under is quite a bit.

I can't recall driving any Toyota with a manual trasnsmision.

Is it possible to shift a manual Tacoma with out depressing the clutch, if the gears are synced perfectly?

5th gear is useless. It’s basically 4th just in a different spot. 5th and 6th should be much longer imo

Fuel up at the top of the grapevine heading north. Get going about 70mpg in 6th, get off the gas and slip into fuel cut. Bet you could get 40mpg on the 20 mile decent.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
You are going to have a sweet truck. The access cab is the best in my opinion. It also should in theory get the "best gas mileage " because the access cabs are lighter then the 4 door version across each generation

15mph below is idiotic. Dangerous even if someone swerves around you and the car behind can't react.

Buy a prius and drive like a human being.

    Oh look, another mod....
Last week on a road trip I pulled off 23.5MPG for the entire tank, and I did 65MPH.

The other night coming home from the dentist in a full on freezing rain/ice storm my truck damn near hit 21 which was impressive for how bad it was.

Thanks. If you know of any dealers that would be able to get one at MSRP or less, please let me know...

I drive a manual Tacoma, fuel economy comes... geesh never thought about where it comes on the list... anyways... it isn't first! Enjoying the drive is. I guess fuel economy will show up on the list went it is a problem.

If you want an MT ACLB Army Green with the fixings you may try Haddad Toyota in MA, they were willing to sell Out of State, got going with them before I thought they ghosted me, but then came out blasting again saying they figured out the MA problem after I bought a ‘19. I think they may still have it

    here it is https://www.haddadtoyota.com/new/Toyota/2022-Toyota-Tacoma-eaaf183a0a0e09a8387fd5b2490a2f91.htm

It (at least was) on their lot in the flesh too - not an allocation
