Urgent Problem with DVD Receiver

Lots.

I but installed an Alpine IVA-W505 DVD Receiver. The problem is the unit sticks out too far from the dash to put the new dash kit on. I have the brackets on in the right position and everything but it still sticks out. I don't know what to do and I don't want to break anything.

Please HELP!!!

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...

can u not change the screw positions on the sides of the unit where it connects to the brackets?

No there are special toyota holes and they don't put the unit far enough back in the dash for it to sit correctly.
