I brought my work bench with me too, just one move so far though.
Oh I will keep looking for sure, but this is great for now. Or it will be as long as I can get it cleaned up and functional again.

 

I wanted to get drill, driver, bits, and charger organized so I bought a floating shelf and used two hangers.

 

I have those same yellow ones for 20 years now.

The only complaint I have is adjusting the height is a PITA. Four wingnuts/bolts. Plus you have to do that everything you want to fold up the horses.

But like I said, I've had them 20 years so obviously not a big deal.

This thing has a LOT of gravity to it, and feels well built. And it’s a lot bigger than it looks.

 

Dang she thicc, and I just bought the 26" to go with my roller cart not too long ago... Guess I need to buy more tools.

Any update on performance? Looking to get a spring compressor soon and debating on these vs a wall mounted unit. Would love to hear any feedback you have.

 

Same one I have mounted on the wall in my professional shop. Very good, though you have to get creative with coilovers that have long rod ends, like kings. I usually put them in upside down at an angle so the rod end goes through the gap in the front. That way you can drop the shock out the bottom without uncompressing the coil.

 

I took a look at this box in store and was very impressed in its build quality, if I go back to working at a dealer I'll probably buy one as a bigger roll cart.

 

Got this guy. I tell you if you have a propane tank, do any propane or NG plumbing, thing is a great tool to have!

$119 pretty much everywhere. You know some guys here get deals though.................I never seem to get those deals...............hehhehehe

 

The couple times I’ve used them, I love them so far!! They’re easy to use and they feel very stout. I haven’t felt nervous at all using them. I guess it all depends how much you plan on using a spring compressor. If you plan on offering spring swaps as a service or something, a wall mounted one would probably pay for itself pretty quickly. But for the price of these and not using them a ton, I’m very pleased. I mean shoot, I would feel comfortable using these over and over again to perform coil swaps on a regular basis. It’s totally up to you.

Again, I will say these things feel stout when using them. I would highly recommend them if this is the style of spring compressors you end up wanting

They are definitely nice to have! I still prefer to charge the system with air first, but for the connections you cant do they are great!

i dont have the Klein one but have a cheaper one. Im sure its not as good but it has worked just fine so far

I almost went with a knock off. Generally the reviews are fine but lately I've just not been lucky with stuff like this.

Didn't think of the 120psi air test - great idea back to the added valve(s).

 

Yeah im not sure if the Klein says it but I know that meter i linked does have a "shelf life" where it says after a certain date it should be tossed. I do so little gas work thought was hard to justify a more expensive meter.

I will say though when we had our Nat Gas leak and the gas company tech used his meter it blew mine out of the water lol. (my leak was underground mind you) but his meter started pinging like 3-4 feet away while mine had to be like 2-3 inches away.

A 120psi air test is a bit excess. Nat Gas and Propane are generally pretty low pressure. Of course itll depend on local codes but for mine it was a 30psi test for 1 hour.

 

Haha was kidding about 120 psi.

Didn't see a Klein shelf life.

Been in the house 1 year this week already have done 3 LP projects. 3 or 4 to go outdoor fire place, sauna, etc. Plus I want make a proper manifold for the grill and griddle with the "sub main " shut off further away from each gate valve.
