    Yeah that’s the advantage of hiking up a mountain. For the canyon trip just eat all your food, lightens the load considerably!

    The average household income when that trailer was built was about $5700 so still a good bit of coin back in the day. I do agree though, much more affordable than today.

    You got something more than a pile of plastic for your money too.
    Thinking back (50 years or so :laugh:) with the exception of the exterior lights lenses there was no plastic used in the trailer at all that I can remember.
