    See what I did there?

Anyway, like I said, bought some new wheels and I'm wondering why it took me so long to find these so I'm just here to spread the good news (or maybe old news if you're super into the scene idk).

    My wheel of choice:
    Pro_Style_2020_FF_F159.jpg
    FSW FFS-F159
A heap of letters that is otherwise known as Factory Style Wheels Pro Style 2020. These specifically are 16"x 8" with 0mm offset and finished in satin bronze.

What first drew me to this wheel was the color and look. Always been a sucker for bronze wheels and had my eyes on em even more so after I got my Pyrite Mica 2nd gen. I've also really taken a liking to the TRD OEM style look, maybe cause it's easy to love idk. However, never been crazy about the +10mm or whatever it is offset that you get with the true OEM wheels. When I first started down this road I told myself it had to be 0mm, and yes, I knew going to a different width would change that backspacing too....
    Insert doofus here:
    :duh:

ANYWAYS, I started looking closer and they really started to dig their teeth in... These wheels are 17.4lbs, rotary forged (what they call flow forged), JWC/VIA certified, with a lifetime structural warranty, and are literally over $100 less than most of the other wheels I've been considering. They ring in right at $204.50/ea after using a first time customer promo code and KY state taxes - shipping is free!

That truck color along with the vinyl decals, those are going to look killer!

Now of course you got 5, correct? You know, to complete the ensemble like the Jeep folks do!

Maybe one day when I have a tire carrier on the rear bumper I'll make an effort to pick up another...

I've got the Toyo open country At3s on the way. @surfandturf is correct. He must have made an educated guess or saw another post where I mentioned size. Seems like a good fit for these trucks...

I've also been pretty weight conscious with my setup. The 16s fit the bill nicely and allow more meat on the tires. Total weight of wheel/tire setup should be just under 60 lbs.

They've been very good to me. So far on this truck but I've had numerous sets on my Ranger as well as my F150 SuperCrew 4x4. I gave up on what I now consider crappy BFG KO's after years of running them on various trucks till their death. Too many out-of-round occurrences and crappy rides from their half life. I found the AT3 to be consistent through it's long lifespan. Hoping for the same on the Taco.

I would guess these wheels are average. 850kg is about 1874lbs. How heavy is the trailer?

5k loaded. I've been casually searching for wheels and want to keep them relatively stout. looking in the 2500lb range. They're heavier but less likely to give me trouble in the rocks as well.

where'd you score that striping? im not usually into aesthetic crap for trucks, but the color scheme you have is on point. I have a silver sky 3rd gen and have been looking for black or bronze wheels but after seeing yours, I think something more analogous would be really sweet. like a platinum hue or something.

:hattip:thank you sir. It took a leap of faith to go with the colors that I did. The wheels really complete the ensemble IMO. A seller on etsy called BLVinyl has a store that sells vinyl packages for vintage Toyotas. That package is actually made for the 81-83 SR5.

Angie, the store owner helped me customize the rear decals to match the front. She's awesome.

That REALLY came out perfect. Those wheels are a perfect fit and the complexity of the pattern works so well with that color! Nicely done!

I hate to admit it but your right. I didn't catch that spec till AFTER they were mounted. I thought it was a misprint but unfortunately it's not.

I run pretty light and when I tow, it's just my 18' Bass Boat that's pretty light. I really like the wheels but after just buying the KMC Treks for my new RAV4, I wish I had spent a couple-a-few hundred more and bought a better wheel. I'm seriously considering putting a similar KMC on my truck instead. The finish and construction quality is so much better.
