Can oil be cleaned from asphalt?

There are a million products out there but do any of them completely remove oil stains on asphalt?

 

I just use kitty litter from the dollar store. After it absorbs the oil I clean it up and apply more and smash it into the concrete to clean the spot.

 

Call an asphalt driveway installer. they may have a few ideas.

 

I've had to clean up a few of my messes on asphalt, and the combo that seemed best was a thorough use of shop dry (might be the same as kitty litter, not sure) followed by "Purple Power" and water. Made it look like I didn't have an oil filter failure and dump 4 quarts out on the ground...

 

a can of carb/brake cleaner followed by dawn dish soap....
