I have a goatee, but the "cover the intake and breathe in" test proved to be a good seal between mask and face.

I blew my nose after the last time I did any extended welding/grinding and it was black from dust/fumes etc. Figured it is worth the cost to not be exposed to that shit anymore.

Reminds me a story years ago when Miller PAPR system first came out The employees at one local company wanted the owner to invest in hoods for all the welders most likely $10,000.00 or more for the group.

2 of the welders ask do these hoods have enough room so we can get our cigarettes under the hood.

As far as I know it was the end of the sale.

This story was told to me years later by the Miller Rep.

    Lol.
We do have the most expensive cigarette lighters available.

Hot MIG wire lights a smoke great...if you got a sharp apprentice, he'll have a cigarette ready for you after you finish that weld.

one puff I coughed and retched I said I don`t need to be cool.

That was the first and last many years later my friend dying from lung cancer said He wished he was a strong as I was.

Yesterday while replacing spark plugs, pcv valve, air filter and other general maintenance on the wife's car, my welder showed up :angrygirl:

You did inspect for hidden damage before you accepted it ? I hope.

Enjoy give it a good workout full control and output after reading the operators manual .

It is crazy how fast the same machine can change in a year .

Even if it is the same model or the next

Box itself was in good shape.

Just won't be able to run it at all unless I hassle with taking it to work. No problem with that, just the whole unboxing and boxing part.

Thanks for the heads up! Ordered from them and it was here 3 days later. Now that I’ve got a bottle the welds are looking way better!

I only did mower deck repairs one way after the first few years In most cases a new deck was cheaper when you could stillbuy them.

A complete new top plate other wise it would be back in a few years to patch another spot with our damp climate when the park the lawn mover with all the grass still packed over the winter.

Just like snow plows lawn mowers show up when the grass is more the 4" tall.

On a side note, this was lame…

Nice. I’ve often thought about ordering one just for the experience of welding it up and then just selling it ha.
