Wow lucky, my failure to signal lane change (even though I did) was a $160 ticket.

FYI, in theory, even in states that require a front plate cops cannot pull you over simply because they see you're missing a front plate...

The reason is that since some states require it and some don't, merely lacking a front plate doesn't mean you're breaking the law, and thus it's not probable cause for them to pull you over.

But the reality is that unless they have a dash cam, they can later pull you over for any damn thing they want and just say that it was NOT your lack of a front plate that made them do it.

they can pull you over for breaking a state law. Not running a front plate in a state where you must run a front plate is breaking the law

are you trolling or is the logic portion of your brain turned off?

I gotta say, that’s controversial. Not sure how I feel about it, but bravo for doing your own thing.

Same, but I won’t run one until I get caught. And I won’t block my radiator with it that’s for sure

Yea I thought about not running one too but….actually, I mounted it like that so it would fit in the garage better. Yes I have about 2” to spare. Lol!

I have no issues with blocking the radiator either. There’s plenty of air flow.

I grew up in Huntington Beach and am a collision tech by trade . I've always loved the automobile and have had tons of classics/trucks and performance automobiles usually at the same time .

I could never bring myself to mount a front plate
And throughout my life I've probably only paid less than 200 in tickets for it (i don't live there now). For me that was money well spent .

Why have I not noticed this before! I mean it is so hard to miss with the 'Not A Step' label on it... I mean obviously Toyota knew people were stepping on it in prototyping and design and instead of changing the design added the label. Toyota's quality has really gone down hill!!!:angrygirl::annoyed::censored:
