Do you still have tension between 2wd and hi? Mines a bit loose

    Oh look, another mod....
I had to re-do it a few times because of that. Once I lined it up "just" right, it shifted from 2wd, to 4Hi and 4Lo with ease; but it isn't loose. The first time, it shifted from 2wd to 4Hi with ease, but 4Hi was hard to shift into. When I put it all together and turned the truck on, a warning light came on that told me I was in 4L, and I needed to go to a dealership because it was broken.

I took it all back apart and carefully lined everything up, then it worked just like it did when I had the chrome ring on it.

I get gas every Weds night on the way home from work. Never more than $25...I am the guy who considers a half tank as empty as well, so I rarely ever have to put more than $25 in to be good for the week

I am getting roughly 19-20mpg on average

19-20 is really good! Half a tank out here in Cali is gonna be at least $50 now! :annoyed:

I get roughly the same mileage. It's usually between 1/4 and 1/2 if I fill up every 2 weeks but now its just under 3/4 when I top off. Have not been driving as much lately and seldom drive it on the weekend. That will change as the weather gets warmer and we go out and participate in some outdoor activities. Definitely better to fill up before the tank gets too low.

I do a lot of cruise control driving and luckily, my drive to and from work happen in non-traffic times, so I am not stop and go driving as much as the average city person. I also do a 40 mile round trip to band practice on the highway once a week....

Ouch. I drive less than 150 a week going back and forth to work. That's got to be painful.

Testing a color match powder coat from prismatic powders. So far it looks pretty spot on.

You could also get these. They are switchback but not sequential. You can run them as switchback or not. If you don't wan switchback they are just plug n play. You could always go back later and add wiring to use the switchback mode. I have had these for a couple of years and love them. They are currently on sale.

Thanks. That looks pretty stout! I still need to get a HC rear bumper or a winch up front. With my luck I’d be pointed up at the sky stuck on my rear bumper with no one ahead of me or no winch to continue forward….:rofl: would be worse than being turtled!
