Next everyone wants to pay the money for the drip. But if you do the. 250$ Yoshimura or 150$ one ups (60$ for the polymer version oneup) are legit

The whisky sours we make I don’t really like, probably the sour mix.

but we drank all the amaretto the bar had last night, sad

Take a look at the Paddle and Portage race. I never did it (or even spectated) myself, but I always though the concept sounded fun.

Race Face Chester pedals and Vans slip-ons are my go-to for when I don't feel like clipping in.

You won't be drippy like @Sperrunner but Vans will be a lot better than the trainer-style shoes you've got without making the leap to dedicated MTB shoes.

The biggest shortcomings of the Vans are that the canvas upper tends to blow out (especially with aggressively-pinned pedals--they'll abrade as you use your toe to left the pedal when stopped) and that they don't do much to protect you from smashing your toe into a rock.

I got an email this morning from my credit card saying that their spring promo is 5% cash back on gas purchase. It starts just in time for my planned road trip to California in April.

    I ride vans and fivetens.
I find vans grip well and for me atleast they do on short rides (8 miles or less) but on long or very ruff rides they dont offer as much support as a true mtb shoe so my feet start to feel it

For some reason, I have a strong urge to punch the fuck out of people that use that word to describe other people. Thank God its not a thing on the east coast.

But I wore vans with chester pedals for awhile. They did and still work great. Only reason why I got a pair of legit mtb shoes was that I got all the way to Arkansas and forgot the vans. As good a time as any to upgrade I guess.
