ABS problem

Did some suspension work on the front and rear and now there’s a long list of abs codes. Do I need a new wire harness?

What exactly did you do and did you try clearing the codes and seeing if they all come right back?

 

Check your wheel speed sensor wires, theres one to each wheel. They're pretty fragile so get damaged easily.

 

If one of the wheel speed sensor wires was shot could it through a code for all four corners of the truck?

 

New coil overs, upper and lower control arms as well.

 

When you took the front knuckles off did you let them hang by the ABS wires?

 

I think I'd clear the codes and see what comes back, it's possible some of those were set if the key was turned on with something unplugged.

 

I don't think so but I'm going by 3rd gen logic.

Do this see what comes back. Also what lights you have lit on the dash?

 

I hung them up with bailing wire. But they did get knocked around a bit, that’s probably where the problem is.

 

ABS codes won't clear until repaired.

And once repaired, they typically will self-clear.

This is 100% harness related.

 

I bet a main harness is fried or you shorted something out and it blew a fuse disabling multiple ABS functions.
