    Hi,

I have a 2014 crew cab, long bed.

While backing in at angle this morning in a parking garage I bumped the wall to push in the rear driver side bumper about 1/2" to 3/4" or so I'm guessing. Not terrible but annoying just the same. As a result the passenger side went out it in the opposite direction it seems.

It has a few scratches but i'm more worried about the bumper and what I can't see. I was looking underneath and trying to see if this can be pulled out or is there more to it?

    Thx

loosen mounting bolts and adjust. Easy peasy.

Double easy peasy if you have an extra set of hands to help.

Triple easy peasy if the bolts aren't rusted tight.

Digging out an old thread, but I had this exact thing happen. Anyone happen to have any pics of where to get started or perhaps a video, etc? Not really noticable unless you really look, but would be great if it is as simple as this.

Are these bolts I would want to loosen to adjust the bumper? (7 & 8) ?

It is that easy on a 2nd gen with a one piece bumper. And you're in the 2nd gen forum. :D

In your case I'd start by examining 9 & 15 or 10 & 16, depending on which side is tweaked.

understood, but judging on that diagram of the *3rd gen, is that similar to the 2nd gen...?

What's there to adjust? The flimsy OEM bumper is more decorative than function. You are better off try to straighten the damaged side with it mounted. I don't see how can any impact shifting the whole OEM bumper. Usually the tin foil collapses when hit. But if you hit the hitch and your bumper looks shifted, then you should be more concerned with a tweaked frame.
